I've created us a team profile at Loopd.com. When I first looked at this last year it seemed to be a clone of facebook but for sports and didnt bother with it but now it seems a lot more focused on getting some action and most importantly sponsors.

sounds cool to me, I got a bit confused first of all but as I read and looked into it more it's a good and easy idea.
