Hello all, I was looking to find an introduction forums so I could introduce myself but couldn't find one. If there is one please move this

First of all my name is Spike (yes my real name) and I'm a 28 year old father of one. I've had my powerizers for about 3 months but I've never thought to look on the net for fellow enthusiasts nor have I had much time to get out on them (mainly due to the weather and looking after my daughter). However recently I found projump.co.uk while looking for some replacement hoofies (I think that's what they are called, I'm only just learning the ropes). I was told about this website and thought I'd have a look and my interest perked when I saw some of your videos and read that you sometimes rent out indoor facilities to practice (something I cannot do by myself and I don't know anyone else who does this).

So I was wondering, how many Welsh Bockers are there? Is there some way to join and get to know people? Where do you go usually?

Theres quite a few of us, and I'm the newest... Or at least I was the newest... I guess you hold that title now >.< Numbers wise, I would say that there are maybe 30 payed up members, and maybe half that number people who havent got membership. You wont see many of us on the forums, but we do meet up regularly in Swansea and Cardiff.
You live nearby either of them? We could probably put you in touch with some Bockers in your area

Locky and Jeeves are sort of the bosses, but they dont get on until a little bit later on. Maybe we could get 'em on chat form you, work out what you know and what you want to know.

As Alessio has said, meetings in the Swansea and Cardiff are are very popular and our North Wales Branch is also developing. Looking forward to bocking with you

Sounds great. I'm an Englishman (please don't throw stones :p) but I have lived in Cardiff for 18 years now and I currently live in llanishen although I am moving to Rumney in a couple of days and will be offline until Sky hook up my cable

I've just been going to Llanishen Skate Park to learn but seeing as I'm the only one there on powerizers it's pretty much a case of self teaching >.<

Hi Spike,

We currently "train" every saturday afternoon at the Channel View centre in grangetown 2.30 til 4.30pm. I say train but its pretty freestyle so everyone can work on whatever they want, and we frequently have beginners. Everyone is made to feel welcome.

I see that Locky beat me too it in telling you the times of our Gym Sessions on saturdays, oh well!

But yeh we are down the bay every Saturday before gym and after and then all afternoon going into the evening on Sundays too

haha a bit young for that, she's only 22 months. She's got a little devil in her too, she's more likely to push someone over than she is to join in :p

Okie kokie, just give us a shout when you know whats going on, and we'll let you know when we're next meeting up. We normally do is go out on Saturdays, but the Swansea lot have gym sessions on Sundays.
