Shirt situation
« on: August 25, 2009, 12:48:55 »

The T shirt situation is up for discussion at the moment. We're definately not happy with the recent shirts from the shop in cardiff. It seems a few of us know of other people able to produce shirts but the problem we've faced is we dont know about the different methods used to print T shirts. There are about 5 different ways to print a t shirt. Some are crap and some are good. We are happy with the shirts available on the zazzle store but they are now £18 each and take about 2 weeks to get here from america.

What I think we need to do is if anyone knows of someone that can print the shirts at a reasonable price then we need to see an example of something they have printed. If that means visiting their premises then we can arrange that.

If its going to cost more than £16 per shirt then we'll stick with zazzle (zazzle actually pay us back some royalties on the shirts we sell every year which is why im saying 16 not 18 quid)

Also some people have talked about getting other items of clothing with the WB logo on and I'd like to open this up to anyone and anything. This means you can go take whatever clothes you want the logo on to an embroidery place and they can stitch in the logo, name, web address etc quite cheaply depending on the size. Embroidered stuff is VERY hard wearing and lasts a lifetime. It also means it can be done locally, without people worrying about sizes or anything else.
for example you could either buy a cheap top from tescos and go get that embroidered or get the WB logo embroidered on the back pocket of some jeans. Whatever you want really. This wont have an effect on the Club shirts. They are still going to be done as part of the membership, we just want to find the best place to do it without getting ripped off.

I was going to run the idea past you about getting myself a WB hoody, with my own custom designs and stuff, maybe we could look into getting hoodies or something done if people wanted to chip in for an order.
Also, there's a t-shirt printing shop in Swansea market, and my dad knows someone who prints shirts for his company, I'll look into prices for you Smiley

Turns out that the £12 shirts are vinal prints, they will be the same as the ones we got from the place in cardiff. so it be a no go unless they ring me back with the details of the 'other' method they were talking about.........yeh right!

I'll keep u posted anyway Smiley

*is jealous* Nice one mate XD

Also, I wanted to run another idea by you guys, particulaly you locky:
I wanted to get a shirt with a small WB logo on the front left breast, and on the back the words:

'I joined the...'
*WB logo here*
'...and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!'

Would you guys mind if I did that? I have lots of mad ideas like this, maybe we can discuss some of them at the next meet Cheesy
