Hey guys, bit of a newcomer here, I was in the recent Cardiff event thing (some massive activity thing, sorry, I cant remember the name XD) and I had great fun with the stilts when i was there Cheesy. I've decided to join up and try and get myself a pair of my own stilts, then maybe practice with the rest of the team sometimes. Oh yeah, one more thing, sorry in advance if I post waaaay to much, I get over excited sometimes >.<

Regards, Alessio

PS: Hope this isnt in the wrong place, if it is can someone move it for me please?

Hi Alessio!

It was the National Play Day last Wednesday that you saw us, I assume it was then coz we aint had any other workshops/demos since then Tongue

Thats great that you want to join us, but if you would like another go of bocking you can come to one of our public gym session and have an hour on them, one on one tuition in the asafety of a gym with crash mats Smiley

If you would like that go to our public sessions page, which is located here:
http://www.welshbockers.co.uk/forum/index.php?page=80

or ring us!

Any other questions just ask Smiley

Yup good to hear from you and dont worry about posting whatever you like, things are pretty quiet on here.

TOMORROW (friday) we are back in cardiff bay as part of the No Messin event where kids can once again come and have a go on the stilts for free.

Also on SATURDAY we are down on Barry Island beach front with our own demos and workshops.

BUSY TIMES! uglystupid2 monkey wales

Wow, lotsa stuff happening, I've got to get my a pair of stilts!... Which reminds me, I need to find a pair XD

Also, I dont think you'll remember me and my brother Jeeves but you were giving him a go whilst I was having a go with this other girl (I dont know her name sadly >.<). He really enjoyed it and asked me to pass on his thanks ^_^

One last thing about the gym sessions:
1) Where are they? (I havent had a chance to read aroudnthe forums much as of yet >.<)
2) Can I complete the form and email it back to you? Might sound like a stupid question, but It said print so I was curious >.<

It's best for you to get some stilts and come along to a few sessions before joining the club. That way you can really get used to bocking and know if its something you would like to take up properly. If you decide to, most people bring their forms to one of the gym sessions or something similar.

My bad, you meant the public sessions and the forms needed for them.

You dont need to email the forms, just get them filled out and signed by a parent assuming you are under 18. You then bring them with you to the session.

At the moment the sessions are only in Cardiff but have taken a break over the summer due to all the festivals and events. They are due to start again in September. I'll speak to Ricky (swansea coordinator) on the weekend and see if its possible for anything to start happening in swansea.

Thanks very much. Until then i might just get myself some stilts and tag along to the Cardiff events... So long as you dont mind a hyperactive retard trpping all over the place and laughing maniacally every time he falls over X3
