I have been chattin to IAN tonight n he said now some of us have walked up pen y fan we should move onto snowdon !! if any 1 is interested we cld make it a 2 day event ... camp overnight !! what do u all think ?? this wld be sometime in july/aug

Phew! What a weekend!

I thought I'd bring this one up since we're now all happy campers - right Fi?

The only thing I want to mention is that I would like to tie this in with the official launch of the WB's in North Wales. There are 4 bockers in or near Pwllhelli and I'd really like to kick things off up north as its pretty dead there at the moment.
Also, I'm not sure about fitting this snowdon trip in on a weekend. We've got quite a few weekends with stuff on already and i think another Walez weekender is planned when everyone is coming down so with the summer hols etc it would make sense to have this during the week, which also makes things difficult for those who have work.

Having had such a laugh at NASS I would be up for Snowdon if invited!
My one reservation would be if you are intent on taking Stilts etc then
I would limit the numbers per car. doing 200 miles they way we were packed
in on Fri would not be at all comfortable.

i agree it wld b better middle week ish but also understand that people with work may have a prob comin or maybe take time off ? what u mean matthew!?! i absolutly ADORE camping get it right hahahaaa. as for stilts i suggest taking max of 2-3 pairs .. remember its a long walk up and  with extra 4kg of stilt wont b easy.. the cars will also have cookin equipment in this time too:P

Carl and co want to come up the same weekend. I've let them know about snowdon and if we're going they'd like to come to but at the moment it doesnt look like we're going.
