Right then, time for another Swansea WB Gym Session. After speaking to Rob the assistant manager over the phone we have been fortunate enough to be able to book another gym session without giving in the new insurance certificate.

Theres been a problem with booking it in our usual slot. They've already booked something in the dates we normally have and so the next Gym session will be tomorrow: Wednesday 29th from 1900-2100. It's a bit complicated but the hall is suppose to be £86 for the time we are in there, but because i made a deal with the manager we get it for £36, but he is the only one that can book it in for us. Because he was doing something at the time, we will be booking and paying for it tomorrow. It;s very complicated but theres no need to worry about it, Wink

List so far(as i know of):

Ricky
Kyle
Joe
Tim
Sam
Lewis
Blakey
Luke(?)

(I'm not sure if any of the Cardiff crew will be attending yet)

aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh....right, ignore everything I just said in the previous post. The leisure center did a slight mistake and booked us in as a badminton session on the Thursday night, so when i went up to book today they said that it had been taking, not knowing  that it was taken by us :S.

so.....our real, proper finalized date for our gym session will be on Thursday 1900-2100!!!

Sorry for the inconvenience guys Wink

So today I went to Morriston Leisure Centre to see what they had to offer for us. I must say that it's about a 100X better and is suited for bocking. It has thickish crash Mats(x5 or 6), loads of gym mats, and a rollout mats(x3) that we can use for run ups. One of the halls was the size of a basketball court and the sports hall the same size as our current one....all the mats are in the smaller hall so they'd rather us use that, plus they aren't gonna be able to do a price deal like we have at the moment so it looks like the smaller hall it is.

The smaller hall costs £19 an hour which is close to the £18 an hour that we pay now. With the price of the hall being the same, I am going to try and get this booked for us a.s.a.p to see what it is like. I'm not sure what they're booking policy is, fingers crossed we can pay on the day, which would be nice.

The only problem I see with the halls is that they have limited time slots for us to book. The only days the hall is available is a Friday, about 6-8pm or on a Saturday morning at 9 o clock till 11  Grin.....I'm not really bothered about this but it's a miserable time and so I think people would rather the friday. Grin Hopefully when school/college kicks in again, this won't be effected much, if it is effected then we will just have to change to a different time slot Wink.

I did take some photos, but as there was a party going on at the time, I couldnt take pictures with kids in it Wink, so I only managed to take some photos of the crash mat and roll out mats.

(sorry about the size of the photos uglystupid2)

The guy I talked to today was the health and safety advisor(not the best person to talk to). He wanted to make sure the hoofs weren't gonna be a problem on the floor. This wont be a problem as we intend on using the mats to bock on and avoid the floor. I'm taking my stilts in tomorrow evening at 6pm (forgot them today Angry) and so I will give a further update tomorrow night, hopefully with much better news  Cool

Tim isn't here this week but price should be as usual which is £6. Money left over will go into our kitty of £6 2funny to pay for a free sesh when we have enough money (or it can go towards the new gym to keep prices the same  Wink )

List as I know of:

Ricky
Kyle
Joe
Sam
Lewis
Blakey
Luke(?)

if they dont sort out the crash mats, ask them to take a few of the gym mats that they use in karate next door. At least then you can surround the crash mat with gym mats and they never seem to use the mats in karate anyway!
