Right guys, this year after doing some research I found a brand new festival to us which I hadn't heard of before. Unfortunatly we got in too late to be able to get paid for anything but the guy was very eager to have us at the event anyway.

Baefest is the Wales's largest Free Beach Festival which is happening the weekend of 4th and 5th of September which means it will be a good way to finish off the summer festivals.

We have been offered a free space to put a promo stand if we just be there for a visual impact lol and a possibility of doing a small hour workshop if there's a high demand. We haven't got to be there for the 2 days, what we feel like really

Due to cutbacks this is no longer a 2 day event and is now only taking place on saturday Sept 4th.

I think that's good news for us, gives us 1 day to focus on and make as big of an impact as we can.

Just thought I would revive this topic as the date is coming closer and closer.

Got a call from a lady today who's been setting out the floor plan for the event.

It's going to be split into East and West sides, east I think being stands with all kinds of crap and West being the sporty and action side.

Not sure where we want to put our 'setup' and that but theres enough time to sort that out.
She did say if we wanted to put together some sort of demo for the crowd then we should do it before or after 2:30-4 ish as this is the time the crowd tends to view the surfer chain and the stuff that's happening on the waterfront.

She's looking forward to having us, just hope this weather gets better lol which hopefully it should.

Welsh Bockers are no longer attending Baefest 2010

Bad news I know but I've had a late call from "work" and can't make it and doesn't look like theres a 'huge' interest in people wanting to go either   

Maybe next year, fingers crossed
