Last night was the first time I have ever been to a Gym on a Sunday, and from what am about to tell you I want them on Sundays more often!
So at the gym we do the usual thing warm up and a quick bock to get started then on to practicing new skills. As I have a bet with another bocker form another Bocking group I though it be best to get started

If you don’t know what bet I’m on about I shall explain, me and Katen (of the EA's) have a friendly bet on who is gonna be able to Biranni on stilts first. Just for a laugh and to push each other.
Well if anyone saw me doing sorry attempting this Biranni I assume they were laughing...........hard! My attempt was more like a flying squirrel through the air, and a dead slightly mouldy squirrel at that! My legs were everywhere, God knows what my arms were doing! So in my retreat to join the line and have another go, Jono advised me to try and do the same as a front but to swing my arms to my prefered side and not straight down as you would in a front. So message received loud and clear I tried again, guess what..................
That didn’t work either !

This time I think I did a 180 in the air and fell on my butt, time to move on I thought after those 2 failures! After watching Nathan ( our youngest member attempting back flips on jnr's ) I thought yeh give it a go. It may have taken me a few bounces to get the rhythm and after going for a few backdrops I was ready!
Never I have felt so close to landing a back, or actually going for it

I really was convinced that I was gonna land it today but my luck being mine it was time to pack away and go home

Even though I was close I’m still that much away! But hey it’s a step in the right direction right? Maybe at our next session I'll finally go and land one, wish me luck!
