Hi guys, I phoned up Pentrehafod Sports hall (about a mile from fforestfach gym) this evening and it's looking good so far. I only spoke to the supervisor on shift as the manager doesn't work in the evenings

He said that sometimes they can be busy but they can sort some stuff out. They do have crash mats (as he said) and gym mats (as they do karate there). They have a massive sports hall which is good but were not going to hire it all out. I'm going to ring in the morning and arrange for me to go up there and see him before Fforestfach gym hopefully.

I am hopefully going to get him to give us a reasonable price, maybe as we have at the moment. (or did have  )

Will update this in the afternoon after I've spoken to him, hopefully with excellent news

Update

Spoken to manager, seems nice- they are willing to pay about the smae price of cefn hengoed, maybe a bit more expensive but nothing we can't pay for.

The supervisor says they have crash mats but will check with gym mats, manager says plenty of gym mats, not sure about crash mats  , he sayd he can sort something out and check on it, then get back at me tonight with a deffinate anwser.

They are quite fully booked at this time of year but they can do fridays about 19:15 for 2 hours

will update some more later, now time for food

yes it does, he said if i get it sorted, we might be even to have this friday if were lucky and I get it sorted. I think we will need about 9 people paying £5 to cover the whole of the hall i think. So if we can get: Rickie, Blakey, Ollie, Joe, Tim, Sam, Lewis, duff, Ieuan, Kyle...and possibly other people if the newbies fancy coming.

This is deffinately enough to cover the cost of the gym and I don't think it's going to be more than £44, or i hope not lol

Right guys, spoke to the manager Jamie today and he seems very keen. I have a meeting with him on Wednesday at 4:00 at Pentrehafod school, meeting him in the car park as this is where the hall is located.

He wants me to show him what we do and for him to see what equipment we need and for him to find a booking for us .

Any one want to come down and see him with me? Last time I did this with Morriston it was a bit awkward with me bouncing about and trying to talk at the same time lol, would appreciate it if anyone could come

between 15-30 mins, not too long, just need to show him some stuff and book a spot.
