The Oval Basin (Roald Dahl Plas) in Cardiff Bay is our adopted home. It offers such a perfect bocking environment that “the bay” has become a well known location to bockers all over the uk and even the world.
The open space keeps us safe from traffic and allows us to keep an eye out for pedestrians and vice versa. The slight decline of the former dock gives a perfect bocking nursery for new bockers to push their confidence as much or as little as they like.
In 2008 Cardiff Bay played host to the 2nd ever Capital Bocking event where we invited the worlds bockers to Cardiff and had over 120 attend to create a massive bocking spectacle. We even had 3 friends journey over from the USA to join in with the weekend meet up.
So if you happen to see us bouncing around, don’t be shy, come and say hi. We might even let you have a go if we’re not too busy.
